- If a student is absent in an examination, the absence will be considered as an attempt taken by the student.
Note: A registered student of the Master Degree Programme should complete the degree within four (04) academic years.
- If a student is absent from an examination due to medical reasons or unavoidable circumstances, he/she can submit an appeal, together with valid documentary evidence to consider the grade of next attempt for the Distinction GPA calculation. Hence, the submission of a medical certificate or other evidence to excuse the absence is required only from students who intend to be considered for a Distinction pass.
Therefore, each student who is willing to be considered for a “Distinction
pass” is required to submit an appeal(s) for absent examination(s) in the
Semester 1,2,3,4 of the Master Programme with relevant evidence to justify the
appeal, on or before 06th March 2026 using the Google form below after paying the applicable
administrative fees.
