1. Students are advised to read the policy guidelines of the re-scrutinization of marks and grades (included in the form) before applying for re-scrutinization.

2. Requests for re-scrutinization of the marks & grades of above mentioned courses WILL NOT be entertained after the deadline given.

Attention: Students of the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Intakes, of the Master of Computer Science/Master of Science in Computer Science/Master of Information Technology/ Master of Information Security/ Master of Business Analytics /Master of Cybersecurity Degree Programmes

Dear Students,

According to the prevailing laws and regulations of each master programme, no registration shall remain in force beyond a maximum period of four academic years including the first period of registration.

Hence, students of 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 intakes who wish to reattempt the courses in the 2^nd and 4^th semesters (commenced in September 2026) in order to qualify to obtain the corresponding Master degree in 2027, are advised to re-register in the new academic year by paying the prescribed fees on or before 25^th October 2026.

Note: Students of the 2024/2025 intake (current second-year batch) who wish to apply for repeat examinations will be facilitated to apply for the relevant repeat courses in due course. Therefore, this notice is not applicable to students of the 2024/2025 intake.

Dear student,

We are pleased to announce that the Pass Lists of the students who will be awarded their postgraduate diploma / master degrees at the Postgraduate Convocation - 2025 [subject to the approval of the Senate of the University of Colombo] have been published in the results section of the PGVLE.

All students listed are herewith requested to fill the form below “Name to be written on the  Postgraduate Diploma/ Master Degree Certificate – Postgraduate Convocation 2025” by attaching the duly filled supplication form with it on or before 30.09.2026 (Before 9.00 a.m.).

Note:

1. If a student fails to submit the duly filled form before the deadline, the certificates will not be prepared.

2. The Academic Transcript and/or Degree Completion letters for students listed in the above pass lists will be issued only after their results have been approved by the Senate of the University of Colombo.

3. If a student urgently requires an official document relating to their examination results, the Examinations and Registration Division may issue a temporary Academic Transcript and/or Degree Completion Letter containing the following clause:

“These results are released subject to confirmation by the Senate.”

Such temporary documents will remain valid until the results receive formal approval by the Senate, which is expected to be granted by the first week of November 2026. Students who require a temporary Academic Transcript and/or Degree Completion Letter may submit their requests using the link provided below.
